Rainy Rhyl

MONDAY

I managed half an hour in the garden before the rain arrived. It was persistent rain, heavy at times and meant my usual Monday afternoon bowls practice was off the cards. 

A trip to Rhyl this afternoon. The tide was in, and the seafront was quiet—just a handful of people around: 

a group of sea anglers, 
a metal detectorist combing the sand, 
three street drinkers huddled in a beach shelter, 
a couple enjoying a romantic walk on the promenade, 
a dog walker on a lead,
and me!
