Remained visible

My new registrar and I managed to deal with the work early enough for her to make her post work appointment, also for me to stop off on the way home for a walk and camera shoot at Te Wai Orea (Western Springs Lake).

Not long after I started on the path to the lake, I saw a few small birds zipping away from where they had been finding food in the grass. They seemed different to the common sparrows I am used to seeing everywhere. So I tracked one which appeared to have been trying to hide, and was able to get my blip for the day.
