Americana Festival...

at the Sage Gateshead. Hundreds of people inside and out, listening to music, for free , over three days.The concourse was packed with people eating and drinking and soaking up the rhythms, and those outside had brought their chairs, picnics, and sometimes their champagne, whilst listening to performers who were on the stage. There are also concerts all afternoon and evening in all of the halls, but tickets were needed for them.
Many of those listening were dressed up. This chap caught my eye. I don't know why he would have bare feet!
