Sunrise swim at Playa de Tauro

Started the day early again up before dawn to walk to a new bay at Playa de Tauro for a swim.  The beach is favoured by the Spanish and less commercial than the others nearby. It really suited us. We had the whole bay to ourselves and the only evidence of it's popularity is the footprints in the sand. Parts of the bay are out of bounds as they are kept for use only by the fish which include ray. Beautiful.

After our beach time and a fab swim we returned up the hill for breakfast, aquagym and a relax to read by the pool. I powered up the 1k hill, which is named, 'Cardiac Hill', on Strava, determined for a PB - glad to say that I achieved it and have become 'Local Legend ', and joked with G that we would have to stay here to maintain the honour. It has to be said that the daily challenge of walking the hill has become a lot easier through the time spent here. Market Hill, back home will seem easy in comparison.

We have a great routine now. As this is our last full day we are determined to make the most of it. Teide, the volcano on nearby Teneriffe is spectacular and in the afternoon I decided to sit and paint the view from our vantage point. I created a good deal of interest, with several folk asking about my art.
