Grabbing an opportunity meant rushing for the camera, accepting the lens that was on it and shooting through the window.

Happily, the lens already on was a suitable 100mm. Eventually, I hope, the Chaffinch got his bath. Both needed it, as the hot weather is continuing. They flew away when I tried to get a clearer view outside, from round the corner of the house.
