Spotted longhorn

A new walk through the woods today and I spotted wild ripe raspberries, the first red berries on trees, so many wild blackberries in between the flower and fruit stage and hurray, finally I managed to spot and capture some wildlife again ! Meet Rutpela maculata, the Spotted Longhorn sitting on a thistle. Of course I was trailing behind my husband and thus couldn't stay long enough for a better shot. The weather was quite pleasant , a bit overcast with a breeze, good for my sunburnt skin from yesterday's venture in Brussels ! I've got a photo album of yesterday's sights of Brussels here
