Cygnets on foreshore

Went over to mojo edgcumbe this morning to check the time of the bus to Millbrook. There is a circle dance class on Tuesday afternoons which would be fun. However this afternoon I had a dental appointment, the first on my dental plan scheme so a check up then a clean and polish by Lisa, the dentist. The gaps between my teeth now feel huge as the build up of plaque has gone. Calculus she called it. I will endeavour to keep it clear. On the way back across from Mount Edgcumbe and walking up towards home I noticed a family of swans on the foreshore, all but one with the heads tucked under their feathers. There were two adults and six cygnets and I am wondering if they are building up to migration time .
