Bus Pass Walk - signs of autumn

Buses awry this morning. Planned to catch the K4 and alight somewhere en route to Keighley for a walk along the canal. The 616 was running a little late, and the time for the K4 never changed on the app. We therefore got on the 616 when it arrived, and found the K4 had broken down at the bus stop in Bingley. Just K, S and me walking today and S had printed off a copy of a route we could take.  So we caught the shuttle and got off at Bar Lane (where there was a problem with the bridge which had been closed) and headed left along the canal.  The plan was to walk to the bridge near Keighley Golf Club, cross the canal there and walk back along the path there to Riddlesden and have refreshments at East Riddlesden Hall. Thwarted again - the bridge was open but tied up at the opposite side of the canal! We therefore took the path across the golf course and eventually back to the main road. A few minutes later a new to us bus service arrived so we jumped on that back to Keighley arriving at the bus station just as a shuttle was ready to leave for Bingley.  A very nice lunch at The Loft followed.  Autumn colours starting to show in the main photo. More from the walk in extras, including a smiling shark on top of an old cabin cruiser which of course appealed to my daft sense of humour!  An enjoyable wander and we stayed dry :-)
