Meeting the Cygnets

Dry weather so out for a walk  along the Macleans_Way, an old railway line that ran from Walsall to Brownhills, then on to Lichfield, returning via the canal feeder from Chasewater reservoir.  Frustratingly my ankle again began to hurt as the walk progressed.

We came across a family of 8 cygnets with their mother, no father to be seen anywhere.  They were curious or hungry and had no fear of coming up to us on the towpath, so a wide angle shot was all that was needed.
