Not so thorny thistle.

Another Scottish themed Blip. I had to visit the physiotherapist at the local Cottage Hospital for a bit of work on my thumb. Don't laugh, it hurts. On the way home I noticed a small bunch of thistles at the side of the path. For those of you who can zoom into the picture, you may be in for a surprise. The centre looks more like the soft floating tentacles of a sea anemone than the centre of a flower.
