A surprisingly lovely day when the threatened bad weather must have drifted elsewhere. 
The sea was calm, the streets were quiet and back to normal after the hectic crush of summer holidaymakers had either gone home or were now holidaying overseas.
In the garden many plants were continuing to produce flowers somewhat later than usual, a result of the patchwork sort of weather we had this summer I imagine.
Today's blip choice is one of the last of a beautiful group of white Osreospermums which have continued to produce flowers even when the weather earlier on was pretty grim. 
Here's hoping many more will manage to survive even though the weather forecasters might try to predict that won't happen...
I'll wait and see, optimistically...
