Pollý is very happy

...to have me back at home. Can't say I'm just as happy, but in those circumstances it was the best option available.

Spent the morning in the ER at the hospital in Akureyri. New x-rays and a new sling was made. Painkillers given (and a prescription for more to use at home) and great service from all the staff. I was very thankful and relieved to have made it home so soon after the accident.

I'm also very thankful for the assistance from Kári, my younger son, who was cat-sitting at our house while we travelled  and now will have nursing duties added to his job description :)

Meanwhile, my mother and husband are having a great night on the cruise ship.
