Alexey Leonov

A day at the national space center in leicester, an interesting day with some real rockets in one the the buildings, we also went into the museum of science and technology next door which was free so we had to pop and and then a wander along to abbey park for lunch.
The statue is of Alexey Leonov a russian cosmonaut and the first human ever to do a spacewalk.
