Unusual Light This Morning.

The sky was clear of clouds for the most part this morning. However a large bank of cloud filled the sky on the eastern horizon blocking the sun. This gave the view of the ponded area of the Taylor River rather unusual light and colour tones. There was a westerly breeze at first. That transitioned to a gale later in the morning. My property is sheltered by big trees and high fences but the wind still snuck into my haven and roared around for several hours. The wind shifted to the southeast this evening. It is now quiet and still outdoors.
