And now the rain....

This is Sunday

Last night there was a bit a of a thunderstorm and quite a lot of rain with the promise of more to come.  Our garden could do with the rain but not the floods that are forecast for some parts of the UK.  Summer has truly ended here I think!
In other news:  Mr MC refilled the bird feeders and an entire squadron of parakeets descended upon them at around teatime.  It was quite difficult to photograph the quantity in its entirety so in Extras I've put a collage to give an idea.  We have never seen them clinging to the wall of the house at the end of our garden before, so I've included those shots even though not very good.
