Merveille du jour

Exceptional Of the day! It certainly is, one of my favourite moths that I like to call the Mint choc chip moth! It appeared in our moth trap this morning, one that Rob was hoping to see this month. The adult feeds on the nectar of ivy flowers, so please refrain from cutting mature ivy down if at all possible, it’s an invaluable nectar source at this time of year.
Another exceptional happening too, Rob completed his ‘impossible’ Harry Potter jigsaw! And all the portraits kept moving around when he wasn’t looking!
