Something Different

Our visitors to the lodge were booked in for a fortnight so there was no cleaning to do today. We took advantage of the good weather and went to do a bit of gardening.

We have to do it now, cutting back the rough wildflower area and mowing the lawn as, after Tuesday The Man hasn't to do bending or lifting for a while. His second cataract op will soon follow and then we will be into the dampness of winter.

Anyhow, the visitors must have gone off for the day in a car because their bike was parked up. I've only once ever, blipped a motor bike so I thought this would make a change. I was surprised it had no brand name on then I said to The Man: "They've stuck a little magnetic BMW badge on it!"  "BMW put the badge on properly in place!" said The Man, "It'll be an expensive bike" Oops, OK, I didn't know BMW made bikes.
