Flood plain takes the strain

Another day of torrential rain! We went for a walk in what we thought was an easing off but turned out to be only a temporary lull! Umbrella and wellies did not prevent our trousers getting soaked to the skin! These flood defences on the edge of the village were working brilliantly preventing further ingress nearer The Severn. I have a video call with one of my old school friends this evening. We first met in 1965!
