On auto pilot
My cold is at its height and is making it difficult to enjoy the trip. Hopefully it will start to improve tomorrow.
We did a dawn shoot from the beach below the old church in Mundaka. The light was not kind!
After breakfast and a short rest, we went to a cemetery. Martin, one of our leaders, was very enthusiastic about this visit, but it did not meet with universal approval.
I thought it was a challenging project and began to see interesting details. The best moment was when I chatted to two workmen. They were cementing in the front panel of a recent occupant. The date of death was something like 20 08 2024, but the 4 was missing. They had not noticed. One raced off to the van and brought a number 4 to stick on!
I dozed this afternoon while the others went around the village. Our last trip was to see this hermitage. It’s a famous view and photographers do sunset from the bottom of a very long steep path. I stayed at this viewpoint.
A long time later they puffed and panted their way back. We had excellent pizzas and are back now to pack.
I’ve had it. I want my own bed and to be miserable with my cold!!
