Our crazy mixed up garden

I spotted this in the garden today. Take a close look at it and see if you can spot something odd.
 Yes, the magnolia and cotoneaster are in flower at the same time.

 
The first are spring flowers and the second winter. Yet here they are together in September.
More evidence of climate change and another reason why we won’t be doing Open Gardens next year.
