Took the dogs to Princess street gardens this morning and they were getting ready for a gig of some sort, it did mean that with the barriers there it was easier to look out for dogs. Today was a day of enforced fun at work, the company had hired out the bowling place in the St James centre so I didn’t have to go in and could get a few things done in the house first. Day wasn’t too bad but the food didn’t arrive till 2.30 and was cold when it did, don’t think they are used to holding events that large. Didn’t have a drink so I could do the shopping when I got back before Day going out to listen to Ben Macintyre talk about his new book The Siege. He was very engaging and the book sound very interesting, when I can get around to reading it.
