Really?!?

I couldn’t believe my eyes when I discovered this monarch caterpillar clinging to a mostly dried up milkweed! Will it have enough time to grow, form its chrysalis and fly south? • It’s been a cool and mostly cloudy day although the sun has peeked through a few times this afternoon. Much needed showers arrive mid-week • We ran a couple of errands locally, then stopped by the river to gaze at the water and check on the foliage. Mostly gulls but a few cormorants flew by. Next stop was cobbosseecontee stream where we found two blue herons stalking fish :) • Enjoy the week ahead! • Peace & Love
