The path Emma and I found yesterday takes you past the quarry and I went back up there for this evening's walk. The  path system has been changed since the quarry owners started building a new road in so they could start blasting again.  That was a good couple of years ago but nothing has been done since.  The main entrance to the quarry has also been blocked by large boulders so it's all a bit strange.  There was a long battle for them to get Planning approval but things seem to have stalled - thankfully!
