Into the Distance!

As I crossed the footbridge over the main East Coast line this morning I saw this very long goods train fading into the distance almost as far as I could see - and it was almost as long the other way too. It was stationary so I hope it wasn't holding up any main line passenger trains for too long. Its cargo looks like a mixture of gravel and old tarmac - hard core for road construction I wonder, or railway ballast?

Anyway, it seemed worth a blip!
