Don’t start from here!

Wasn’t looking forward to my crossing shift today as the weather forecast was thunder storms. Turned out mostly fine but I also had to navigate rail replacement buses. Was ok as far as Dover then the rail replacement bus said it wasn’t going to my stop because of a road closure. Something has gone wrong in the system as I shouldn’t have been able to by a ticket to a station with no service! A friend was in the booking office so they were able to organise a taxi which dropped me at the road closure and I walked the last bit. Now waiting for a taxi back which I’m hoping will go round the road closure and find me at the station!
