Keeping watch

What a day !

As a Forest fan, I’m exhausted. I needed a decent glass of Malbec to cope with the excitement !

At least it was on the tv.

I set off, in the pouring rain, for my morning swim. I love swimming in the rain, but the rain was so heavy and the floodwaters were rising, so I did the sensible thing, and turned round about a mile from home. Our flood alert warnings are for the rest of today and tomorrow.

The rain has paused.

But Suki and I are keeping watch through the window. Birds and squirrel are choosing their moments to feed or to dig up the lawn. 

Suki isn’t a football fan. She’s a bit baffled…..but she humours me.
