Chariots of Fire

Chariots of Fire varsity relay.

"2 mile" course around some of the uni colleages which are normally closed off. Last year work entered one team and finished 9th. This year they wanted to improve so they were more than happy to have me in their team given I was already down South this week. 


We entered 3 teams, a fast mens team and then two mixed teams. I was off 2nd leg in the 1st team. It was raining the whole time so the mix of cobbles, sharp turns and some grass meant it was not ideal for fast times. A lot of us finished around the same 9 minute mark. I caught up lots of places and we finished 2nd so good result
