Sunday...

Such a wet & grey day here today - very thankful the rain isn't torrentail & we don't have storms forecast. So a day of work, cleaning with my new steam gadget, trips to the tip & family, food shopping & now pizza making.

I took this photo yesterday but processed today. I really like it & so it's my blip today. It's the eggs of a female vaporer moth and the thing behind them, is the cocoon she emerged from. The females are one of the wonders of nature as they are wingless & therefore flightless. She lays her eggs and then dies soon after...

She picked a nice tree to emerge from & lay her eggs. :)
