The 25th Sunday in Ordinary Time in the Christian Calendar.

The Feast Day of Saint Maurice and Companions.

It rained over night as was forecast, so it was a cold and overcast start with a temperature of 14c.

I waited, fed the cats and read my Eileen Caddy book, and had my morning decaf coffee, before going out to buy the i newspaper. Paul does the puzzles and there is less paper used than the Mail on Sunday. It is an interesting paper. There is no colour supplement.

I have watched Beechgrove Garden and learnt how to prune fruit shrubs to get a good harvest of soft fruit.

I am now watching Ben Fogle's Scotland 's Sacred Islands. A fantastic series.

I may have an afternoon walk. It will be a mostly indoor day, reading, crocheting, and preparing a lovely evening meal.
