Tomato with one horn

An odd looking tomato that I picked this morning. With all the rain and horrible weather, I don’t think many more tomatoes will ripen now so I think it’s time to cut my losses and pick the remaining green ones and hope they ripen indoors. It’s been a good year for my tomato plants though - we’ve enjoyed lots of delicious tomatoes.

Round to a friend’s for lunch and an afternoon planning a city break in Europe next spring. We’ve decided we’ll go to Ghent by train - just need to firm up the accommodation now and then book the Eurostar tickets when they’re released for March. Nice to have something planned for next year.

We were due to go out for a nice meal to celebrate Paul’s handing in, but he felt unwell so we’ve moved it to Wednesday instead. So it was fish and chips out of the freezer tonight instead!
