Manc mech and Manford

Manchester hasn’t half changed for the better since I was last here, but then I’m being a tourist today and tomorrow, ahead of a work thing on Monday, so maybe a different perspective. Public transport is great, plenty to see, and they haven’t swept away all of the old nooks and crannies which I find really tell the social history of a city. Pretty impressed with how the Museum of Industry and Technology celebrated much of that too, and even more later on, at Jason Manford’s ‘work in progress’ stand up show. This was a properly intimate gig  at the Lowry, with him testing a lot of new material ahead of a national tour…so enjoyable for audience and comedian that he over-ran by 45 minutes!
