Cardoon

The very end of the blooming of the artichoke thistles in St Andrews Square.  

Came back that way from the National gallery; there was a display of Etching in Scotland which I'd missed, and which closes today (Sun 22nd). Another mizzly morning. 

Slightly drier though still overcast later on when we went round by Inverleith. Two swans in residence, but no sign of the tufted ducks.
