Tide...

And just like that the tide has covered our whole back yard and garden. The super moon and a constant ESE wind are the culprits. It has been building for several days. It is on the back door step making it impossible to go out the back door or do anything in the yard or the poor garden. So, I cooked all afternoon. I started some buffalo chicken in the crockpot first for lunch next week. We are going to be busy.  Next I made some cream of asparagus soup to take to my mothers for lunch tomorrow. She really enjoys it. For lunch we cooked crabs and corn. Then I baked a pecan apple cake with apples canned from our WV farm. Now it is dinner time...parmesan crusted perch and black will baked in the oven with baked potato and tomato cucumber salad. This kept me to busy to fret about all that water...we had minnows on the first step! We did manage to replace the springs on the garage door as one of then broke this week. We have a forecast for bad storms during the night with wind and hale...OH Boy! The icing on the cake! That was our day. Hope yours was pleasant.
