Finally in bed at 1am uk time; 2am Slovenian time. Delayed BA flight, inefficient Avis etc.
Not impressed with the service at all.
Today’s weather has been glorious. A day for domestic chores including a new coffee shop and a visit to a delightful children’s book shop and a cup of tea with Chris Lee.
We left 2 and a half hours to get to the young Vic to see a show and have dinner.

Walk to Gunnersbury. Trains cancelled. Bus to Chiswick Park. A different issue - trains cancelled. Bus to Turnham Green. You guessed it. Cancelled. Tried to get an Uber - none showed up

Decided to eat in Chiswick and not pursue the theatre. It was a “good” brasserie but the table was sticky, Graham’s fish and chips was poor..,

We did have a stroll in the warm moonlight along Strand on the Green which was delightful
