A wild rose flowering and some of its big hips

Luckily having some wild rose flowers nearby allows  me to blip despite having Covid. The strange weather this summer and  now in the early autumn seems to have been ideal for this rose. The leaves are very green, the flower is large and in good condition and the earlier flowers' hips are huge and look full of vitality. I may even try to make some tea from them as they are thought to be very good sources of vitamin C.
