Gentians in Branklyn Gardens

A trip to Scone Palace this morning to see the Hairy Highland Coo Trail Farewell Weekend.

It's only a stone's throw from Scone to the NT Garden at Branklyn. We just had to pop in for a cuppa and a wander. Not the season for the popular blue poppies were there were plenty of other flowers and leaves. I opted for some of the Gentians that were growing in the rock garden.

I have put in an extra collage of some of the smaller cows that were designed and in some cases painted by school children in the Perth and Kinross area.
