The Annual General Meeting

Of the National Trust For Scotland. The venue is the Adam Smith Theatre in Kirkcaldy. Adam Smith who wrote ‘The Wealth of Nations’ was born in Kirkcaldy.

The AGM was a very informative and interesting meeting chaired by Jackie Bird, who is President of the NTS.

Jackie has created a podcast of about 100 episodes featuring the work and properties of the Trust.

It was great to see that Hill of Tarvit Mansionhouse featured in the information board which is today’s entry.

Pat and I enjoyed the day which featured a host of interesting presentations, several of which feature the Trust Properties in Fife.

We met up with many friends and colleagues and were able to discuss many matters with ‘the high heid yins’ of the Trust.

An excellent day. Hopefully we will be able to attend next year.

We came away laden with the Annual Review and the Annual Report. Very informative documents.
