Sgwarnog: In the Field

By sgwarnog

Pretty

I had a day off work as 16yo had a school inset day. 18yo was also free so we met up with him for a few hours, halfwayish at Settle.

We didn’t really have time for the cave circuit, so after lunch at the bike café we walked up and along the hillside to the pretty village of Langcliffe (main image), with its intricate bye-laws (extra). We worked our way across the railway line and the River Ribble via Langcliffe Mill and then followed the route of the Ribble Way back into Settle. Only a couple of miles loop, but nice elevated views and plenty of variety and interest.

A nice, bonus day out on the last day of summer.
