MrM spotted this daddy long legs, clinging to the leaves of our ailing bay tree. It flew away after a couple of minutes.
We walked down to the Food and Drink Festival at lunch time, and looked round most of the stalls. A drizzly day and, though it was busy, there were fewer people than yesterday. So many good things on offer, but we were quite restrained and came away with some curry for MrM's lunch tomorrow, some cheesily delicious focaccia for a late lunch today, and three 'taster' pieces of cheese. We managed to resist the drinks!
Back home where MrM prepared this evening's meal, a pork and cider casserole. We were joined by Angus, who arrived for an overnight stay on his way back home from Scotland, almost a week earlier than initially anticipated. A relaxing evening.
