Sweet tooth time

This is one of a number of such shops we came across in Madrid. 
They provided a spectacular display although the sweets we tried were a little on the hard side - they did soften up in the mouth in due course and were tasty. We resisted getting any more - what with the abundant pastries on sale throughout the city as well, we wondered what the state of the locals' teeth was like, let alone their cholesterol levels. Perhaps they are mainly sold to sweet-toothed tourists.
