An ordinary life....

Thistle delivered...

Had a good start to the day.  Health check with the nurse at the Health Centre.  BP perfect and I've lost 6kgs (13lbs in old money :-) since March, so I am very happy with that.

D headed off to play Golf with Keith and Kenny at Dullatur.  He had Mairi's slate with him.  I'm glad it's finally getting to its rightful owner :-)

The weather is miserable here today.  Cold and damp, a marked contrast to the previous three days, so much so I spent a chunk of this afternoon in my wardrobe moving summer clothes to the back rail and bringing autumn/winter garments to the front rails.  Also filled two large bags with clothes that are now too big, so they are destined for the charity shop.

Late lunch of toasted ciabatta roll with roast chicken, sun-dried tomatoes, red onion, rocket and mayo, then spent a little time on the acrylic seascape, basically obliterating much of what I painted yesterday. No stress though, this is a learning curve, I am experimenting and enjoying it.

As I type I've just received a lovely message from Mairi saying she absolutely loves the slate.  Phew!!! :-))

Have a great weekend blip pals :-))
