St. Ives

Having had an abortive trip to the beach by the railway station looking for a petrified forest, we passed the bus station which reminded us that we had talked of taking the Coaster bus at some stage.
Striking whilst the iron was hot at 2pm we got on board the open top bus for our tour of the Land's End headland. Four hours later we were back where we started.
St. Ives was on the tour with the harbour beach visible here. In fact just about any of the sights on the peninsula were on it. A trifle long perhaps but a good way to see the area, especially as we were above the hedges.
A take away curry rounded off the busy day.
