Windows upgrade

The windows went into the house today and the temporary partition walls came down, so we can finally see what the new front wall looks like from the inside. A mess, basically. We can also see what the light in the rooms is like. We have fewer but larger windows now and it does seem to have brightened the place up.

Another uncomfortably hot day. I spent the morning at South Molton Hospital having my eyes prodded. I have glaucoma but there was a concern that there might be all sorts of other things wrong with my eyes as well (hence the fluorescein angiogram mentioned in a previous blip). The good news is that it now looks as if the glaucoma is the only serious thing wrong with my eyes after all. That's likely to mean eye surgery for me (gulp) later in the year. Is it too corny to suggest that I might soon have an upgrade of the windows on the front of my face?
