Maximilianeum

Today's blip is kind of a emergency shot. I always knew that the Maximilianeum is good for a blip anytime, in any weather, everyday. So today it finally made it into my journal. The Maximilianeum was built 1857-1874 as the home for a foundation for gifted students (and it still is today). Since 1949 is also houses the Bavarian state parliament. It is located on the banks od the Isar at the eastern end of Maximilianstraße, one of Munich's royal avenues.
