After book club

I managed to come away with three new books, bottom for next months read. One other was a birthday present and the other a replacement for the book I didn't take last month as I had it. I need to crack on or book a sunbed holiday, my to read pile is somewhat teetering.

Met Nicky for a pub catch up before book club, the lady serving us said that the charcuterie and cheese sharing plates we had ordered were enormous and we would never get through both of them. We looked at her doubtfully and replaced the cheese with a calamari small plate obediently. Then went back half an hour later to order the cheese following a distinctly average sized charcuterie plate. I guess she ended up on the order with the extra squid, but all annoying. We won't bother there again!
