Busy Day
Little Man and I went into Woerden this morning. I needed to get out of Oudewater for a bit. It's small town vibes can be hard to deal with sometimes. We didn't stay long in Woerden though. A friend of ours, Myrte, asked if we wanted to go round to hers, for a play date. We had to wait for a bus home, so we matched the trains. There weren't a lot of trains going past that stopped at Woerden, but it was still fun to do.
We spent some time with Myrte and her son, Lucas. Little Man had so fun. Myrte and her husband, Gert, invited us round for dinner. Both Lucas and Little Man needed to sleep so I took him home. After he'd slept, we went back and had pancakes with them.
It's Wednesday so all the life groups are meeting tonight. The babysitter came round and off I went. Thankfully, my life group is meeting in Oudewater, instead of Gouda, so I was able to walk there. Since Little Man still isn't sleeping well (but he's sleeping better), I left early, due to being so tired.
As I was walking home, I saw the moon. It's full tonight and I just had to take a photo of it over the tower of the Dutch Reformed Church. As I crossed the bridge I saw the cobwebs covering the red signal for the boars (telling them that the bridge is down). So they're my extra photos.
