Too hot to play

The dogs found it too hot to move today. But if they were hot it was worse for poor mum in that airless hospital ward. The windows don't open fully, and staff and patients find it intolerable. Everyone works hard but I do wish that some doctors and nurses wouldn't talk over mum's head about issues related to her care. I sometimes feel very anxious at the thought of becoming old or ill.
