4000 blips!
Wow - that's a lot of pictures.
Some blippers do a special photoshoot when they have these blip celebrations and I'm often impressed by their creativity and the result. Others don't notice until the comments come in. I'm somewhere between the two. But that is all part of the fun of Blipfoto. We have many different ideas and we generally accept and appreciate each other's ideas. Which is part of the reason I'm still here after nearly 11 years.
Another reason is community. I've made so many friends through blip, and met up with a fair few of you in person. This summer Jan and I took a trip to the UK and on that trip met up with fellow blippers in England and Scotland, whilst travelling with two other blippers. It was lovely to see you all!
Today's picture seemed relevant to this Blipversary. I've been travelling this blip road for 4000 days. When I started I had no idea where the road would take me. Now, looking back (extra) I kow it took me to fine places and lovely people. It has been a fun trip! Now I'm looking forward and wondering what journeys, adventures, people, lie beyond that horizon...
