A walk in the woods

Haven’t been that way for a while, so before it starts to get wet and muddy, took the dogs through the woods this morning.

Nothing too exciting to blip, but this tree trunk caught my eye, so smooth and touchable, although I resisted as it was right on the edge of the steep bank.

Anyway, I was planning to go left and back via the allotments, but my partner in crime decided he wanted to head towards the beach, so we went down one side of the beck and back the other. A good fifty minute walk, glad I had a jacket as it was quite a few degrees cooler once in the shade of the trees.
