dusty old books

These were my dad’s. He used to love buying old books at auctions and very often they came with a load of others he didn’t really want. They’re right up on the top shelf near the ceiling and are a tad dusty with a few spiderwebs - I think that adds to their oldness nicely. Many of them are full of intricate woodcut illustrations and are lovely to look at. They have that nice old book smell. Not done much today and it’s been nice to sort of have a day off.
